Abigail Sojka is from West Lafayette, Indiana where she grew up with five siblings. Her parents owned a bakery shop and Abigail loved helping their mother with morning donut deliveries. Abigail attributes her love of food to the bakery and their daily homecooked meals.
Abigail joined General Mills in 2016 in Foodservice Sales in Chicago, where she grew her business by deepening partnerships with her operators, strategically working with distributors to drive growth through data analytics and collaborating with her team. She earned respect from her customers and the title of ‘Rookie of the Year’ across General Mills Convenience & Foodservice.
Now, Abigail manages the New England Convenience business, where she is responsible for growing General Mills distribution across Convenience distributors and retailers through collaboration, promotional support and thought leadership. She has quickly shown herself as a trusted partner to her customers as she shares her entrepreneurial spirit to drive business.
Abigail has worked cross-functionally on many projects, lead a young professional mentor circle and contributes to a work group focused on evolving General Mills culture. Abigail has also hosted a TEDx talk. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Journalism degree and lives in Providence, RI with her husband.
