General

What is the cost to attend conference?

Full Conference Registration $1,795 USD
One-Day Pass* $1,250 USD

PLEASE NOTE: Membership to WFF through December 2017 is included with each Full Conference Registration.

*Each one-day registration covers all events and sessions for the day selected. One-day registration does not include WFF membership.

Our company would like to hold a meeting or event with our group attendees during ALDC.

The WFF requests you conduct meetings with your group attendees outside of the ALDC event times listed below:

  • Sunday, April 2 – 4:30pm-8:30pm
  • Monday, April 3 – 8:00am-11:30am, 2:00pm-5:00pm
  • Tuesday, April 4 - 8:00am-11:30am, 2:00pm-5:00pm
  • Wednesday, April 5 – 8:00am-Noon

How do I reserve a block of hotel rooms for those attending from my company?

Sleeping room blocks are available at the 2017 Annual Leadership Development Conference to any organization that wishes to block 100 or more rooms per night. To book your room block call Katie Horstman with the Orlando Marriott World Center at (407) 238-8933. Note: The hotel will confirm with WFF that your group is eligible for a room block.

I am staying at the Marriott Village Hotels. How do I get to the conference hotel?

A courtesy event shuttle will leave the Marriott Village every 15 minutes.

When will the roster of attendees be available online?

The roster will be available to registered attendees beginning November 7, 2016.

Where do I get on the event shuttle?

There will be a sign in your hotel lobby that shows you where to find the Event Shuttle.

What are the event shuttle hours?

The shuttle hours are available here and on the event app. The first shuttle will leave the Marriott Village 30 minutes before the first event of each day. The last shuttle will depart the Marriott World Center 30 minutes after the last event each day.

What do I wear to conference?

Suggested attire is business casual or business professional throughout conference. On Tuesday night during the Ignite the Night party, dress casually. The party will be outdoors, weather permitting next to the pool.

What do I do when I arrive at Conference?

After you check in to your hotel, you can check-in to Conference. Registration is located in the Conference Center of the Marriott World Center.

A networking and learning opportunity for HR Professionals focusing on the latest trends and strategies in HR.

Conference Tip from the Pros – 3:30pm – 4:30pm
An informative session for first time conference attendees covering everything you need to know to get the most out of conference.

Are meals included in my conference registration?

Yes. All meals are included once conference begins except for dinner Monday evening. Monday evening many attendees will be attending their company events. In addition, you can participate in Dine Out Orlando if you do not have a company event.

What is Dine Out Orlando?

For attendees who do not have an event Monday night, it is an opportunity to network with other conference attendees and explore Orlando. More information can be found here

How do I sign up for Dine Out Orlando?

There will be a sign up table near event check in on Sunday and Monday. There is a nominal fee of $5 for the shuttle. More information can be found here

What is the Networking with Leaders lunch?

An opportunity to hear from top leadership icons from across the food industry. Table leaders will share their own stories and facilitate dialogue with their own tables. More information can be found here

Where will the bookstore be?

The bookstore will be located near the event check-in in the Connection Center.

Will the speakers be signing books again this year?

Yes. Check your registration bag for the book signing schedule.

Where do I get my professional headshot taken?

Complimentary headshots will be available in the Connection Center throughout conference.

How do I download the mobile app?

Search for WFF in the App Store or Google Play. Also, you can click here to install from your computer.

What will be in the app?

The app will include features like:

  • Your personal agenda
  • List of attendees
  • Find locations of events and sessions
  • Map of venue
  • Speaker materials ready to download

 

I have downloaded the app and noticed it is showing 2016 graphics. Is this the correct app?

Yes. Download the app today and updates will be available soon. Be sure to keep your app updated for all the latest updates and information.

WFF Membership

What is the annual membership fee if I do not attend the Conference?

The annual membership fee remains $99 and is up for renewal on your anniversary date.

What are the benefits of having a WFF membership?

Year-round access to WFF resources such as:

  • The Leadership Competency Assessment
  • Success Talks
  • WFF Network

How soon after I register will I have access to WFF resources?

These resources are available to anyone who has an active WFF membership. If you are a new member of WFF, you will have access to all member benefits immediately after registering for the Conference.

After I register I will be a new member to WFF. How will I receive my username and password?

Your membership username and password are the same as those you created when registering for the Annual Leadership Development Conference. If you forget your password or username, select “Forgot my password or my username” on www.wff.org and follow the prompts.

When will I be able to access the Leadership Competency Assessment (LCA)?

Once you register for the Annual Leadership Development Conference, you'll become a member of WFF. Once you are a member, you will be able to access the LCA.

Registration

Why has WFF moved to one price for the Conference?

WFF has simplified the customer experience for registration. The one price for the Conference, which includes membership through December 2017, is $1,795 USD.

Does the $1,795 USD include the annual membership fee?

Yes. The one price conference fee includes the annual membership fee. The membership fee alone remains $99 USD per year.

Can I get a group discount for registering multiple people at one time?

No. The Conference registration price is $1,795 USD regardless of how many are attending from your company.

How do I register a group of 10 or more using a credit card?

Register your group using the event website. At the end of each registration, select “Register Someone Else” to register the next person. Follow this process until everyone is registered. Enter the credit card information at the end. When registering each attendee, please enter their specific location information, e.g. if they office in Canada, select "Canada" as their country.

I want to register 10 or more and pay with a credit card; can each guest register on their own?

Each guest from your group can register using the event website and pay with a credit card. If you want to pay with 1 credit card for 10 attendees, please contact WFF for more information.

How do I register a group of 10 or more and pay with a check?

Please contact WFF Registration Headquarters at 1-972-770-9006 or send an email to register a group of 10 or more and pay with a check.

Can I pay for registration with a check?

WFF accepts checks only for group registrations of 10 attendees or more. Please contact WFF Registration Headquarters at 1-972-770-9006 or send an email for assistance.

As a member, why don’t I get a discount price to attend the Conference, like I received in the past?

You are receiving a discounted bundled price that includes both Annual Conference attendance and access to WFF resources such as:

  • The Leadership Competency Assessment
  • Success Talks
  • WFF Network

Will my company receive any complimentary registrations as part of its WFF annual giving?

No. For more information about sponsorships, contact our Business Development team.

What is the advantage of registering early for the 2017 Conference?

This year, registration for education sessions will open with Conference registration. By registering early you can secure your spot in popular education sessions.

I recently renewed my membership with WFF; what is the value of this new pricing model?

Once you register for the Conference, your WFF membership will be extended until December 31, 2017.

Will I receive WFF membership through December 2017 with the purchase of a Conference One-Day Pass?

No. One-Day passes for the Conference do not include membership to WFF through December 2017.

If I cancel or transfer my Conference registration, do I lose my WFF membership as well?

Yes. Cancellations and transfers will be applied to both the event registration and the corresponding WFF membership.

What if I need a receipt for my registration?

How do I Opt Out of the Attendee List?

To opt out of the attendee list:

  1. Log in to the ALDC website.
  2. Click your name on the ALDC website in the upper right corner.
  3. Select “My Preferences” tab.
  4. Uncheck the checkbox indicating to “Be listed on the ALDC attendee list.” and/or "Be listed on the CEO & Presidents Forum Attendee List."
  5. Select the “Save” button.
